My thoughs exactly. Question is, should I? I want a board that will still be viable in the next 16 months. So I think SLI is the way to to go. Think the DFI SLI boards will be down to $150 by say, June? Or should I jump on the Ultra-D now?

I plan to get the DFI, if I can ever find them in stock. Or just get their Ultra-D and mod it into an SLI.

Well I took the PSU up to CompUSA and they tested it for me. Fired up like a champ. I explained what is was doing when I plugged it in, and they told me it sounded like a feedback loop from my mobo. So they think the board is bad. But it works fine with my 300w power supply. Could it be the mobo...

Just got a new 450w PSU delivered today. Yanked out the old 300w, and installed the 450w. The only thing that happens after I connect to the mobo, is the psu emmits a slight high-pitched hum. No fan turning, and no power being delivered to the mobo. Did I get bum psu?
