To me, AMD dominated when they introduced a lower cost, higher performance CPU with the K6-2. They didn't dominate the market of course, but it was the beginnings of a real competitor. Who knows if it will happen again and AMD rebounds. It may happen again, but then the company may not be AMD...

I think I got the same message probably from the same birdie. I would of ordered the OEM if I knew that they were going to have them before the retails. They listed the retail on their site before the OEM. There goes my plans of building my new system this weekend. :(
