Kensai, I really don't have any idea what type of socket, but i am looking for a mobo that will support a P4 3.0 GHz processor. I can't afford anything higher than that right now.

I am putting a recording studio system together and I was wondering if any body here can recommend the latest and greatest motherboard that can support P4 3.0Mhz or better and does not have intergrated sound or video card. Stability is the main concern here and can hold at least 2GB of memory...
Can some one help me on this? I would like to get my external 120GB USB2 HDD to regonized in DOS. I've visited the BOOTDISK.COM, but can seems to get it to work in most of their methods. The drive is by ACOMDATA and got it from COMPUSA. Thanks in advance.
Thanks, Cleverhandle for your response and yes, I read the MS sysprep page. All working OK xcept don't want to having to re-keying the cd key all over again when the image is loaded onto the new workstation. I know it is possible because I have seen it done before. Anybody else?
