Memtest86+ errors on my freeNAS server build!

I'm honestly not sure which one is bad. Now that I haven't seen any errors with these running together in DIMM_A1 and DIMM_B1 (Channel A), I might as well run Memtest86+ on each individual stick in DIMM_A1. Doesn't the fact that these went error free in Channel A lead you to believe that this is...

Memtest86+ errors on my freeNAS server build!

So I'm testing the hardware on a freeNAS server build, and that's my problem. Here are the hardware specifications right now: ASUS M2NBP-VM CSM - (35 degrees Celsius after 11 passes on Channel B) - enabled ASUS Q-FAN2 for my Channel A run, and temperature was 40 degrees Celsius before I...

Currently building a freeNAS server, and waiting for an updated MacBook Pro, I have one question. How to I prepare my two PATA drives for life in an external enclosure? They are being used this moment, on this soon to be replaced computer, and I want to put them in here. Ideally, they'll remain...

    Linux software RAID

That Clark Connect looks interesting, I'll have to take a closer look before I install freeNAS. Thanks!

    Linux software RAID

Wow, and you call yourself a newb! :P Haha, well to be quite honest, this looks a bit too far advanced for me. I think what I'll do, is stick my two PATA drives in an AMS Venus DS3R external enclosure, and use freeNAS for the server and boot off a USB drive. That's not a bad way to go right...

    Linux software RAID

Hey all, I don't want to hijack this conversation, but my situation is almost identical to Praetor, so I plan on following this closely. Having said that, I hope it's alright if I ask a question or two. I just ordered the first component for my server (Corsair 620HX PSU) and I'm thinking about...
