I think that would have no relation to the card since they are completely different components.that would have no affect since dell has gud psu's and i think they are sufficient to handle all that u have added. I think the problem is with the biece u bought from dell. It might be a faulty one.

fx is sure better but if you want to upgrade think nothing less than 256mb fx 5900u or 128mb radeon 9800pro.

Disable onboard video and remove its drivers from the roots. It is recommended to format system drives. Place the card correctly and put proper cooling and stable power supply. Install latest drivers(cat 4.2) and directx 9b. Install omega drivers. If none works contact ATI or your vendorer.
