Ampere is better than RDNA 3 fact. The real reason Ampere fell some short was due to Samsung die's and if Nvidia used same 7nm of AMD than AMD would have been nearly competing Nvidia last gen. Ampere is massive achievement of nvidia in hardware level.

As i said again and again that RDNA 2 was able to compete with Ampere was simply because AMD had clock speed advantage due to Samsung die's sucked. Now that advantage is gone as you can see what ampere really could have done if it had same die as AMD 5nm.

Kepler is saying on Reddit that AMD underestimated Rtx 4090. It is giving same performance as AMDRX 7900 XTX hoped. He said normally generation performance increase 50% max but nvidia did 80% this time and caught AMD of guard. AMD never thought Rtx 4090 will be this fast.
