    Best System for $1500

Thanks for the reply. I must have somehow copied the part down wrong. Certainly saved me a headache later on!

    Best System for $1500

On the ASUS M4A77D, I noticed on the specs on newegg that the memory standard is DDR2 1200/etc. Will the G.SKILL DDR3 1600 work as well on it? Just want to clear this up before I tell my brother to start ordering parts. Thanks.

    Windows 7 RC Woes

Well, I ended up running an extensive HDD test (after some difficulty of getting the program to actually run after booting up to said .iso) and it found errors and repaired them. I still had problems just booting or repairing so I decided to go to a local electronics store (Fry's) to buy a new...

    Windows 7 RC Woes

Okay, so I finally got my new comp parts in early last week and built my system. By last Thursday I had it all working great. Windows 7 install was quick and easy. Everything seemed to be working good. Then, I updated my Windows 7 with the optional updates (I had already done the...

Trouble with New System/Cooler Master V8

Awesome, so basically I paid $50 for a piece of junk?!? Oh well, I suppose I can only blame myself since that is really the only computer part in my new system that I didn't do my homework on. I wonder if I can get store credit from Newegg if I return it. So, I suppose my next question is...

Trouble with New System/Cooler Master V8

Well, I tried messing with this for two hours straight last night. Just using the brackets I cannot get them threaded enough to screw in. Very frustrating. When I get home from work today I will give it another go, but I don't think it's going to fit.

Asus P6T Deluxe VS. Antec 902

I guess I worded that strangely. What I meant was the bay cage comes out and goes in just fine. My problem is when I have my SATA cables plugged into the MB, and I push the bay cage back in to secure it with screws, I can not get it to go all the way due to blockage from the cables that are...

Asus P6T Deluxe VS. Antec 902

Okay, another problem here on my new system that I got the parts in for yesterday. I have an Antec 902 with a Asus P6T Deluxe. Has anyone had these parts as a setup? My problem is the first four SATA connectors on the MB are facing outward so that one has to plug in the cables horizontally...

Trouble with New System/Cooler Master V8

Okay so I finally got my new system parts, etc. in yesterday and I am having a bit of trouble with the CPU cooler I ordered. The holes on the motherboard (P6T Deluxe) seem to be sufficient, but the holes on the brackets that came with and attach to the actual cooler (Cooler Master V8) seem to...
