@FlyingPenguin thanks for the reply. I don't think it is a power issue because the LEDs will stay lit for hours if I do not power the notebook off (hold the power button down for 15 seconds). The fans do spin up and stay on. Just no beeps nor boot-ups. I took the whole notebook apart...

I have an HP Pavillion ze4400 that does not want to power on. When I hit the power button, all the pretty blue lights (hotkeys and power LED) light up but I do not get anything on the LCD. Even the HD LED flickers for a couple seconds. Is this thing toast? - Flappy

I had Vonage for four weeks. Their router was faulty and kept dropping internet packets. After 3 weeks of fighting with customer support, I returned the router and went back to baby bell. Beware their Customer Service - it is one of the worst I have experienced.

Why 4 cable modems? Comcast/Cox Business Services can crank up the bandwidth to almost T-3 speeds. Check their websites for more info.

In device manager, you should be able to force the mode of the wireless NIC. Manually choose 802.11g on both NICs and see what happens.

Or you can buy an ethernet print server. Just make sure you get the right kind - Parallel or USB Newegg
