Ok I tried updating the BIOS to the latest version from the ASus web page, specifically under my motherboard, and no luck. im still getting a choked connection that cant renew an ip off my router, though every other cmoputer in the house can, even off the same cabling.

Yes, actually it was working just perfectly before and then, boom, nothing I've tried asus. Ive been waiting on a callback, for uhm, 2 weeks. \: I will try updating the bios this evening.. That was one of the last things on my list to do. just havent got around to it.
