    VPN IP Range Question

Exactly. I was just hoping that there would be some kind of DNS workaround, or a way to translate/spoof IP addresses... Guess not :( And yeah, I've recently started similar threads at HardOCP and other such sites, so you may have seen it elsewhere before.

    VPN IP Range Question

I am not handing out routers. What do you mean by Windows VPN client? I'm using Windows XP's built-in VPN connection wizard. It gets a new IP from the server, but because the ranges of both the client and server networks are 192.168.1.x, the client can't seem to access server resources. This is...

    VPN IP Range Question

Trying to get a basic VPN set up from an SBS 2003 machine. Everything works, but there's a catch; my predecessor designed the network to use 192.168.1.x as the internal IP range, which causes a problem if the client's home network is also on that range (a.k.a. if the client is using any consumer...

    Norton Utilities Issue...

I recently re-installed XP on one of my machines, and while everything seems fine, Norton Protection (the "Protected Recycle Bin") will not automatically start with Windows, nor am I able to start it manually. The exact issue is outlined <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge...

    800MHz TBird + A7N8X-X?

Aw, c'mon... gimme *some* credit ;) I think in this case, I just happened to have one of those CPUs that's unstable with the ASUS boards... Like those ASUS apparently came across in their testing labs. It's working swell in the K7N2 Delta-L though (and it supports dual channel DDR... A7N8X-X...

    800MHz TBird + A7N8X-X?

Well, there are enough signs (ASUS' manual and their compatibility list) to convince me that the 800 might be risky (even though I've gotten a few stories about working 900s; but I gave my 900 to a friend a while back), and having had my A7N8X Deluxe system brought to a screeching halt only...

    800MHz TBird + A7N8X-X?

Hrmmm... I was just told over at nForcersHQ that 9x was the lowest-supported multiplier on those boards, so that would explain that... Damn. Funny thing is that both MSI and ABIT say that the 800s are tested and compatible with their nForce2 Solutions. Stupid misleading ASUS site. I went ahead...

    800MHz TBird + A7N8X-X?

ASUS' spec sheet says sub-gigahertz CPUs will work with the nForce2 boards, but the compatibility chart (and the manual) says no because of potential instabilities... Can anyone confirm this? Will my 800MHz Athlon not run in my A7N8X-X?
