Never mind, Windows has decided to fix itself. I don't really know what I did, but when I tried to use the repair for the wireless, it froze so I just hard rebooted the system and when I booted back into windows everything was working again :)

Lots of people get DOA items its just a fact of life. I have had both a DOA video card and motherboard before. its annoying but its no big deal it happens. The motherboard was an Asus P4P800 Deluxe and the video card was an XFX 6600GT (awesome card BTW).

try taking the motherboard out of the case and see if it boots. If it does you have a short some where when its in the case. If it doesn't boot you most likely have a bad motherboard. also check the CPU and make sure that is mounted correct.
