If you plan to drive 300+ mile days regularly, yes the long range model 3 is ideal. You must drive a LOT! Way more than the average commuter if 300 miles/day isn't enough for you. Even with a regular 110 outlet you can drive 60+ miles every day and the battery could start each morning at 100%...
