I think that's the difference...Other than the spash screen showing the other providers, it didn't allow me to choose providers. It just selected Verizon and proceeded from there. I guess I'm lucky I didn't continue and go through with it or they'd be knocking at my door Monday morning.

I went to two other BB's here in the N.NJ area and the HSI process was the same as I described earlier. The prices for the laptop were also different...some $555 and others $599. All the floor guys said it was a binding contract for 1 yr. depending on the HSI package and provider. Still...

I'm not sure of the stuff, but I do have DVDXCOPY Platinum and if you can get your hands on that (which is probably hard to impossible now) is definitely worth it.
