Ok, so I'm not completely retarded. Thats a plus, lol. So basically the x48 seems to be the best. And what is the difference between the x38/48, both support, or should support, my cpu, the only difference is the x48's ability to support higher fsb for the cpu/ram?

Yea i know my parts are miss matched, but its what I'm stuck with at the moment :P But aside from pci-e... well screw it, what would be the best chipset for my parts? I'm not limiting myself to 38/48, w/e works with it and utilizes as much as possible for a decent price is what I'm interested...
