I plugged it into the left side. It seems it would only fit in one direction, but I can check it out again later.
And yeah, I shouldn't have gone with a cheap PSU. Was just trying to get the thing up and running without spending too much of my own money. I don't remember what model the GPU...
I'm trying to rebuild an old machine for a family member and have hit a problem. I bought this cheapo Coolmax V-600 - http://www.coolmaxusa.com/productDetailsPower.asp?item=V-600&details=spec&subcategory=140mm&category=single
As you can see, it only has a single 4 pin adapter for the 12V...
You're saying that sunlight really doesn't cause problems on viewing this plasma? I've never had a plasma so I really don't know. I have read great things about the ST50, but would just hate to be unable to enjoy it during the day. How are plasmas (and the ST50 in particular) with fast moving...
I'm in the market for a new TV and would like some recommendations. It will be for my living room which has plenty of sunlight, so plasma is out of the question. I currently have a 46 in Sharp LCD that I've been very happy with for several years, but I'd like to move it into the bedroom.

Once I figured out that I needed to disable Vsync, I've run through Heaven a few times with no issues and everything maxed out. Max boost I'm hitting is 1306 at stock. The only change I made was to make the fans a little more aggressive.
So basically it sounds like the cards perform as expected, but the problem is Asus overclocked them too far which is resulting in the instability?
I'm asking because mine is set to arrive today. What is the easiest way to test the out of box clock speeds....with Heaven and Afterburner?
Isn't the advertised boost only 1137? I mean it sucks that they did a terrible job of testing and it's not working out of the box, so that on it's own warrants an RMA if you want.
Because it's better than no cooler :-)
I guess my thinking was that the stock cooler would be able to handle a modest overclock and that purchasing one wouldn't be necessary....is that not the case?
I'm in a similar boat so rather than starting a new thread I figured I would post my results here.
I just put together my new 3570K build on a Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H. I've never done any overclocking either, so this is all new to me. At 3.8 Ghz on the stock cooler my high temp hit a max of 82C...
I remember I had a Monster card. I want to say it was 4 MB, and when I installed that thing I couldn't believe how much more beautiful Quake II looked :-).
Weren't the Monster cards a competitor to the Voodoo's?
Edit: Never mind, just looked it up. The Monster 3D cards were produced by...
