I just upgraded my laptop to windows vista business. I tried to open Outlook 2003. It opens then just after it opens it automatically closes. Anyone encounter this or have suggestions besides "don't install windows vista"?

I am trying to setup my first network. I don't have highspeed access and only have dialup. Can I use a dsl/cable wireless router to network my pc to laptop to share a dialup connection and to transfer files between the two computers?

I've got an ASUS P5A with 2 USB ports. However I can't get my new Handspring to Hot-sync with it. Is there any way I can test the ports to make sure they are good? I haven't used the ports before, do I need to install drivers? Thanks
