All depends, my VX2435wm has 30-40ms of input lag. I do not notice it personally. I am not a pro gamer so I do not mind or notice even. Also I cannot notice any ghosting issues but again sometimes this is a personal inclincation thing and some people notice ghosting a lot easier than others.

First, get a hold of NVidia personally and see if they know about such a driver issue; if they due see if a fix is in the process of being implemented or is implemented in a beta driver or an alpha driver or what not. Second, NVidia is releasing their 9000 series cards sometime soon, some may...

I might be not the best test case but I spent the last 5 years on a 17" CRT and I cannot see any ghosting on the VX2435wm. Of course I haven't strenuously tested it, the fastest game I play at the moment is Team Fortress 2 and like I said can't notice ghosting personally. Also there is a...

@VX2435WM Inquirers: I cannot find an input auto detect. The input seems to default to the last selected input. So I leave it on HDMI for my computer and switch it manually to Component for my HDTV tuner. If I turn the monitor off it will come back on with whichever input was last...

DoctorM and cboath are probably right about the driver issue. Possibly Nvidia didn't get the HDMI display driver correct?

@KenSings For my computer I only have the option of using the DVI->HDMI cable. All seems to work fine. I also have hooked up my receiver (HDMI->HDMI) and my HDTV tuner via component. I haven't had any problems with displaying things full screen. I would try to contact customer...

Finally got everything hooked up. No dead or stuck pixels on the VX2435WM. No other problems I don't think. Haven't tested uniformity or bleeding but it doesn't appear to be a problem. Also got my Onkyo receiver. Currently not hooked up to the monitor though. Just optical hook ups from...

For those that care: Ran through the gauntlet with TechOnWeb. They do not ship to addresses that are not listed with or on credit card. Which is hard to do with my debit card that is just credit backed. Anyways, long story short I now "reside" at where I ship stuff to... even though I...

I ordered from TechOnWeb. It seems that both of you have had good experiences with them in general so I don't really wish to venture in a separate direction. Besides they are still in the leading price pack on the monitor its just around $560 (after tax or s&h) now like the rest of the other...

DoctorM: Another odd question - How long is the included DVI->HDMI cable with the VX2435wm?

Going to place the order, but have to call on Monday. They have a policy that they don't ship to addresses not listed with the credit card. And the address I ship to (at school) is certainly not on my card. Still going to place the order, and hopefully me calling to verify that it was indeed...

That is exactly what I wanted, I know that no monitor seems to be perfect but I couldn't go an buy a monitor that didn't have 16:9 and 4:3 modes since you need to force TV signals into those modes because I do not have a pc internal tuner and thus the signal comes as 3:2 for normal television...

DoctorM, xtknight, or someone in the know: about to finally plop down for the vx2435wm just trying to verify one last thing... I was wondering about the monitors aspect modes or scaling options. Since I want to watch television via the monitor its kind of important and it just occurred to...
