This sounds like a good deal to me. It was also listed at this price on techbargain.com, but when I go to the amazon.com site, it shows up as $149.99 today (July 31st). Is it showing up at a different price for others?

I notice the packaging in the link refers to 1.2 volts. I thought AA batteries were 1.5 volts. Is this unique to this brand, or am I missing something? 4 batteries x 1.2 volts= 4.8 volts. 4 batteries x 1.5 volts = 6 volts. Would this be enought to effect a digital device?
