Hi Niccolt, i SOLVED the problem due to a posting from you here in a similar soundprob thread. I checked the sound volume options again for recording and checked the box for "what you hear" . NOW it records with sound again. Without your post i would never have found this solution...

Thx Niccolt, but i am always logged in as Admin, never used the "user" account at all. Seems like it has nothing to do with. I probably had once a similar problem with my hauppauge tv card when capturing. So i used a tool called audioselector (audiosel.exe) which could change the way...

forgot to mention, that i installed the Win2k SP2 recently, could it be a reason for this? bye Trantor

Hi folks i´ve got an RADEON 64 MB VIVO, ABIT Kt7-100 Raid,W2k, SB Live Value.... VCR is connected with an scart adaptercable to the ViVO and SBlivevalue. Drivers are the latest special purpose ones and the Legacy VfW (under W2k thx to Niccolt), MMC7.1 and DVD4.1 and Intervideo WinDVD2.4...
