Hi, I have an EPoX 5EPA+ mobo and i know that my gpu has a temp probe on it because i can check the temps using everest. Is there a way for me to see my GPU temp in game? my CPu temp shows through some games because EPoX's USDM program has something called frmTransparent which shows me my...
Ok i've been issued another RMA number...good thing allstarshop has some great customer service...wow...second RMA for one part...i must have the worst luck ever witnessed. Problem is i dont have a spare pci video card so ill be stuck without a comp for 2 weeks or so. This is the second time...
I know they can be unlocked...but what the heck??!?! i just completely wiped my drivers and reinstalled and it still says it's an SE...so i have no idea what's going on...from the outside it's DEFINITELY a pro...anyway i called the shop and they gave me the manufacturer's number...so im gonna...
well it's not supposed to have 16 pipes...i bought an X800 PRO not an XT...and it wasnt generating artifcats...the scan came up with no errors..it's just extremely weird
12 pixel pipelines...which is another weird thing...if this was an XT it would have 16...for some reason i feel like somehow this card got completely messed up but who knows...any help would be appreciated
any other ideas? it seems my video card is getting really hot too...just from a little artifact scan on atitool it went to 71 C and it's idling at around 45 C
I just got my video card back from RMA (it was replaced) and ever since some extremely weird stuff has been going on with it. First off, it's being read by the motherboard as an X800 SE but i'm sure it isnt because the look of it definitely of the Sapphire X800 Pro PCI-E. Anyway, it says it's an...
im pretty sure it's not thermal throttling because my cpu temp idles at 47 C and NEVER goes over 61 C i guess the arctic silver has something to do with that...anyway...i will try both sticks separately with memtest...im just wondering WHY the comp shuts off like that...it came as a shock to me...
yes but the power supply was defective...also yes it was $13 but the new one after it did not blow and is still functional right now...the first power supply in itself was defective...which caused other parts to become damaged...
and another thing...i ran memtest86 and it shuts my computer off every time...i tried 3 times...it finishes one percentage cycle and then shuts off the system at about 91% on the next...so yea...im sure getting new RAM wont fix the problem either...
yes gamerj, unfortunately it is...i have no clue what to do...it's really annoying me...i pulled out another $100 for this power supply and it hasnt helped one bit...the rails arent even that great...i get 11.795 on +12V which is worse than my old one...though more stable...im going to RMA all...
ok ive found out that that score is horrible for a 3.4 ghz processor...so does this mean my processor is the problem or something else? im kind of a noob so im confused on how to use memtest86 :S
