Well, I may have been an idiot but for some reason the new 6018 Beta Drivers worked great. I now have HWA on and not a single problem in any application I tried. I am much happier. This was all I wanted. A decent 2D card that worked better then my SIS card and now with the Driver issue gone...

The reason I want it is so that I can use the retail drivers with my card. Right now it will give me an error message saying I don't have a card that will support the drivers.

I am looking to do the same thing with a VE card. Let me know if you find anything out.

Am I missinformed or isnt the drivers for use on any Radeon cards from the 8500 to VE?? Driver can be found here.

The Radeon VE can be gotten for a much better price then the 7500 and works great Hardware wise. Just be sure to buy the Retail version and not a "Powered by" version. I got sucked into buying an OEM and am hating it now. I use Win2K and the drivers wont work to play some games with Hardware...
