I would agree with you, but why if I install 98 first, then I can install XP. I had the same issue with 2000.

Tried to install XP from the CD to a newly formated HD. After muitiple blue screens showing all the drivers being installed, it gets to the sceen where you need to hit enter to continue, esc to cancel, etc. At that point the no input is accepted from the keyboard; therfore can not continue...
