1. In reply to the PC2700 post: I'm using el-cheapo, and I mean 15$ a stick, pc2700 RAM (512 MB) each, and it runs fine. As a matter of fact, it benchmarked quite well on Sandra.

I dunno if this has to do with the dual powersupply: out of box, I was so exited that I forgot to plug in the atx_12V Vcore connector to the mobo. Installed and ran XP for a day before I noticed that extra power connector just dangling....
Just got a Gigabyte SINXP1394 Mobo. Got two sticks of el cheapo PC 2700 memory (512 MB each) in it. WANT MORE! Can I put two sticks of 3200 (1 GB each, 400 MHZ) in the other 2 slots? Will they run at 333 MHZ or not at all?

Can you put a 2.5 GHZ P4 on a Gigabyte SINXP1394, even thought the MB's chipset is geared for HT? I have the chip, want the MB, can't afford the 3.06 GHZ and the HT whiz bang.
