Forget the ceiling fan, it doesn't really matter overall. The point is that my GE Link bulbs tend to lose connection to the hub when they are physically powered off for several days. I have other ones in lamps that do the same thing. I think I'll try the Hue bulbs based on MBSMD's reply. Thanks!
