I think mine has 0170 BIOS but could that make it not even should the BIOS screen. I was under the impression from other people than even if you have an old BIOS, you can usually get far enough along to allow you to update the BIOS.

Like many people here, I can't get my P5B to post. I read through the thread and thought I had chosen compatible components. Please help. -E6400 -Antec Sonata II case with included SmartPower450 PS -ASUS P5B (the "vanilla" version, not deluxe) - BIOS is whatever it is out of the box...
