well that sucks. Tried the RAM in slots 2,3 and passed memtest about 8 times before I stopped. Then tried every BIOS version avialble and had the same errors with each one. Come Monday I will be asking to have the motherboard replaced on, it is only a week old. Thanks for the help, please...

I just manged to get it to load memtest86 with the DIMMS in Slots 1,2. It froze 46% into the first test though.

are you using an eq within winamp or another type of program like that? With winamp amplifing the signals they become extremely distored.
