This is weird, now i can't use the express bios update. It says " this board does not support intel express bios updates or you have 1 or more incompatable apps running " Currently using version 16.18 with a E6400. never has any issues in the 6 months I have owned this

I used Kingston DDT667 and installed all my apps except games so far. The apps fly. I here theres a issue with the core 2's not being ablr to play BF2 though an this comes from another builder I know "Tony at Plycon"

even with hyper threading enabled on the non core 2's you lose 2mb of ram. so i would imagine this is the same case as a HT enabled chip tries to act as a dual thread. don't worry about it. Example:[Ram] Usage: 462/2046MB (22.58%) <~~~~~~` should be 2048 for 2 gigs.

Glad thats fixed, Newegg has the boards again so I grabbed one. To bad Intel uses junk h/s. I'm using a Thermalright w/ a Thermaltake fan. Guess I'll use my fan controller because of the 4 pin mobo header and my fan is a 3 pinner.

If Intel had released this board last week with 1162 as its first bios, and Desktop Utilties downloadable within 10 days, I don't think you would have seen a single negative post... though there are still issues with 1162, they are containable...
