HELP! PC won't fire up. Power Supply, MB... ???

Ok, odds are it is a bad PS. The reason to use a hardrive as a test device is first it is a single device and second you can hear it spin. The trouble with using the MB as a test device is that it is really atleast 3 devices (MB, proc, and a stick of ram) and cards raise the count. I would still...

Is UDMA 66/100 enabled or disabled by default in W2000 PRO?

Win2k uses whatever is reported in the CMOS memory. If the contoller supports it and is correctly installed in 2k, it works.

    Cable vs. DSL

Santa had the best answer. I live in the Minneapolis area and I use DSL. That means Qwest provides the connection and you choose your ISP. Most choose Qwest, a big mistake. Now for the twist, I install Time Warner Road Runner for a living. In this market for about 98% of the people cable is the...

    Dual Intel processor question

After a day of research and using the search feature here I still have an unanswered question. Will the fcpga Celeron work properly in a dual processor board. I have found 2 conflicting general truths: #1: Intel and most board manufacturers say only the fcpga PIII will work in dual mode. The...
