Annisman's 2nd ever Anandtech giveaway: Winners announced!

Lol that is some stylish ironing board :D But i don't think it is intended for a midget for two reasons. 1. Putting it on top of a case is too high. 2. Midget will be blinded by those LEDs before he reaches the board.

I think this is one of those times where having a star trek ship on top of your case actually makes sense. Or it could be a modern miniature-sized coffee table... hmmm

Puzzling 3770k temp - can you help?

I am using a dedicated gpu, and iGPU is disabled in BIOS. It's interesting looking at IDC's illustration in that thread, because my results are a bit different. Core0: always the hottest at idle Core1+2: always hottest at load, but coolest at idle Core3: Coolest core most of the time, except...

Puzzling 3770k temp - can you help?

Core0 on my 3570K is 10~13 hotter than center cores at idle, and load behavior closely resembles what Vectronic described above. I re-seated the heatsink 4 times using different TIM spread methods and temps difference were only about 1C? I guess in my case, with such a big variance in temps...

    hi guys need some help

You got so many open-ended statements in your OP it's like a train wreck. For future reference, you can make it easier for others to help you simply by making a simple list of your system parts, and precisely describe your situation with beginning/middle/end. Your OP reads like "help me! omg...

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare - The things it does to you

I kind of felt the same say when I first started. Coming from FPS shooters it was kind of strange to use the scroll wheel for an attack. But after awhile, you get used to it and the default action assigned to the scroll wheel actually makes sense and quite easy to use.

    Prime 95 Yes or No

The answer is absolutely yes if you care about stability. I have had LinX pass and Prime95 fail, or Prime95 pass and HandBrake fail. The point is prime95 shouldn't be treated as the ultimate answer to stability, but a value tool in your stability testing toolbox.
