    The real difference between Xeon and a P4

    Is it worth it to spend the extra $ on a Xeon processor. I would be using it for my desktop to play games and process dvd, ie: backing them up other dvds. Is it worth it?

    Liteon 163d DVD rom 16X won't read at 16x

    Hi, I have a liton 163d 16x DVD rom with the lastest firmware and when I copy files it takes just as long as with my 8x dvd. I'm using XP and not sure what to do. Any ideas. thanks

    I have a Liteon LTD163D and It seems to running at 8x instead on 16x. I'm using DVDX copy to read the dvds in and it reading juast as fast as my 8x. any ideas. Is there an update for this? thanks Ron
