i guess 100fps leaves more room when the fps starts dropping when there are a lot of intensive graphics in first person shooters.

The monitor i would get for cheap is samsung 955DF Maybe get a logitech Itouch keyboard, they type really nicely and any hard drive is fine just go with Maxtor or IBM 60GXP

Go Toshiba for DVD or CDROM and maybe plextor drives for scsi
