Just got this soundcard , installed latest drivers from viaarena and my sound is working great but i cant get my mic to work, i tried a million things already. Mic is plugged in and its not muted. help plz!! thanks

just now i was trying to talk to a frined over the mic , he says he hears my music im listening to but not me. lol

My onboard is dead , thats y i got the sound card. I've tried the windows recording thing , and i dont hear nothing. I've also tried another mic , still nothing.

Its not muted and its in the right port , trust me! What i do to test my mic is play a game and just loopback my voice so i can hear it , and i dont hear nothing.

Recently i bought a creative sound blaster live 24bit sound card , and i cant get my mic to work no matter what i try. My sound works perfectly its just my mic is not working , any help??? I tried everything i could think of. thanks

All sound , i cant hear nothing but static for everything. Its like a low static.
