You will need to have a little util program to flash your Bios with the new bios version in the bin file, you didn't said what kind of motherboard you got but just check the site of the manufactor and I am sure you can get the program there.
Than just make a bootable floppy with the flash util...

Just a little warning.. be REALLY carefull with that cooling and when you overclock or anything triple check all cables and cooling stuff.. if you run the Thunderbird without a cooling for 1 second it will go to heats over 250C and melt.

SMR is a special codec some groups out there use.. you can find it at www.animetools.cjb.net too.
