Well obviously a higher internal bus is benefitial - but its probably not worth it anyway in practice since the difference is usually small (the internal bus is not a bottleneck). I base that one what results on previous intel platforms have been comparing multiplier OC to bus OC.
I never heard...
Well it does allow you to OC other components than just the CPU. All sorts of bus speeds get a boost with a higher BLCK, and even just upping it a few percent actually gives measurable results. I've even seen several motherboards that come with BLCK at one tiny notch over 100 as standard...
Well for my part its neither. its the combo of overclocking + IGP that most interests me. Ie. actually getting to use the full capacity of the CPU on a powerful server/HTPC combo. a discrete graphics card eating power 24/7 and and adding extra noise and heat to boot - not to mention not being...
Oh really?
Well, lol, maybye THATS why I cant find any info on it =P
I will go google a bit more than I guess - although of course I still welcome all anyone has to share here too.

Hey,
I am curious what information is known about the Z67 chipset yet. Apparently its not too far off from launch, yet the tech news sites have not been discussing it much aside from a comment here and there. Considering there are TONS of people buying their SB rigs right now, and the Z67...
il check that our right now then :)
If anyone else has suggestions, let me know.
EDIT:
HDDscan seems to be quite nice, and it allows to do (atleast ome types) of harddrive scans on multiple drives at the same time. Thats nice when you wanna scan 10 drives with a test that takes 2 hours pr test...
Hey,
I am reusing a bunch of older IDE disks along with my new SATAs in the new server I am building, but since some of those disks are a bit old I want to run a thorough scan on each to do my best to reveal any signs of problems before I even try to integrate them into the system. Im not...
Actually checked out richcopy. I didnt see any explorer integration though. I think its a much more heavy-duty utility for moving massive amounts of data once in a while, not for daily use for all kinds of data (atleast it looked that way).
Teracopy is perfect though. With the new features...
Oh NOW I remember Teracopy! God I love this program! I had totally forgotten about it heh (don't think ive used it in years). this is exactly what I needed. Thanks man :)

Hmm, sucks a bit if you can't decide when to verify and when not to (kinda wasteful to allways verify for all the common little everyday things) - but I will certainly give it a shot and see if it can meet my needs. Thanks! :)
I anyone else has other suggestions worth checking out, please let...
Hey all,
I need to find a program that can add an option to (on the right-click drag menu for example) to not just copy/move but also verify the data after the copy/move so I am 100% sure that the file has arrived safely on the new medium.
I will be using this on a server that uses a...
It seems I finally sucseeded in finding someone who had the info. apparently there is an article about it comming right up:
http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/gigabyte-ga-h55m-usb3-revision-1-vs-revision-2-what-changes-39889/#post358254
I leave this info here in case someone else needs the same...
Yea its a pretty new model, so what im afraid of that they got complaints about something that wasn't BIOS fixable. The only question really is how serious it was and wether it actually impacts the functions I care about. It dosn't seem like the rev2 is widely availiable here in Norway yet, but...
Thanks friend, I made a post there simultanious with the one here though, but I do appreciate the attempt to help :)
Unfortunately no answer anywhere yet *sigh*

Have to agree with Modelworks on this one. While additional cooling would have SOME effect (they generally are slightly more effective at lower temps) it wouldnt make much practical difference and thus not be worth the effort.
If you really wanted to tho, you could just cut up some small pieces...
