If I wanted to just play games I would definitely go with i5 8400 or I could just go with R5 1600 if I really couldn't find one Intel chip available.
But I want to know if 8400 will be good for other things.
I know that ryzen is 10% slower in games. Which means when you play on 100 fps on Intel...
Don't get hyped brother. 2018 will be like 2017. Ryzen 2 (Only the 7 series) comes in March. Availability sucks at least for 2 months (then 5 and 3 series come out) so the prices are high as hell in countries like Greece.
If I wait like 6 months to buy, then people will say me why won't you...
Yes I would like to spend 500 Euro at most. So in theory the only machines that stay into this budget are i5 8400 R5 1600 and R7 1700 (and maybe i5 8600K) so as I understand Intel is by far better on gaming but will it be better than R7 on virtualization ?
The main complains about Intel's 8th...
I like the value that R5 1600 and i5 8400 has but in both cases I feel that R7 1700 is a little bit better. Whatever I think I can handle the fact I have 130 fps instead of 145 for these 10 more threads. If were cheaper 8th gen mobos then the things would be more clear. This i5 8400 would be the...
So as you understand my point is simple. I want to upgrade my old friend Phenom II x6 1090T and go into something new.
First of all, I can't wait more (I want to buy into the next 2 weeks).
Also, my budget is limited because RAM chips are way too expensive and I really want to buy 16GB of them...
Sorry but I just do not believe that in a year or probably 2 years, there will be a single gpu that will give me more power I will get from a used RX 480. Keep in your mind that we talk about ~150 Euro for used RX480 in a year from now and please do not compare the price range in 2 years.
I...
Thanks russian for the fast reply. I am happy that I wont face any problems at all. Anyway, my budget is limited for now so I can buy msi rx 480 or gtx 1060. And I will go with amd (after 5 years with nvidia and no problems) just because I have the option to spend 200 euro next year and xfire...
Can Corsair RM750x PSU handle 2xMSI RX 480 8GB ( @stock MSI clocks ) with i7 6700K @4.6 GHz ?
I tried Coolermaster's site and on maths it can handle it even on full load and 24/7 usage. But what's your opinion ?
Of course we tested everything and -thanks god- this PSU didn't kill any other part. We also tested the PSU on full load and everything works great. The real problem was that he had the stock cooler on this Phenom and things were going really hot under pressure so I underclocked his CPU, untill...
So a friend of mine has a PC which is 7-8 years old.
CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1075T @stock
GPU: Sapphire Nitro AMD R7 360 @stock
Mobo: ASUS M4A87TD/USB3
RAM: 2 x Kingston DDR3 2GB
Optical: Sony DVD RW
HDD: 1TB Hitachi
And his PSU was Force 600 Watt. A really low end PSU. Yesterday, his PSU died...
I started to keen on buying the RX 480 because the Gigabyte G1 model costs ~310 Euro when the same GTX 1060 model costs ~350 Euro.
But things are more complicated for the MSI Gaming X models, where RX 480 comes for 360 and GTX 1060 comes on 370.
Again and again people say that Strix RX 480 is...
So we come back on my question. Which are the best AIB models for RX 480? (Because I can't find a place where they compare them) I would like to know about good GTX 1060 AIB models. But I think I keen on the red side.
