I'm not trying to lead or mislead anyone...Just saying my personal experience..I haven't seen any very expensive TFTs..Most were between $400-$600..An yes, I was not happy at all with what I've seen..None of the TFTs I've seen would make me miss my 17'' Sony Trinitron I use now..I use my PC...

No, I agree with you...I'm not even thinking of going TFT!I'll keep the CRT I'll get now for 2 years and I hope by then TFTs will be what they should be..

To be honest I'm mostly between the Viewsonic and the Samsung but I've heard good things about the rest as well..The LG has very nice specs and the NEC and MITSUBISHI feature the Diamondtron tube which is supposed to be on par with the Trinitron from SONY (if not better)...

I don't think you're absolutely correct..Firingsquad has recently put up an article comparing the two cards (both OC'ed). You can clearly see that in newer game like Splinter Cell and in very high quality settings the OC'ed 9600 beats the 9500 by quite a margin and even manages to catch up with...

I'd go for a Sony or a Mitsubishi CRT too... (or anything that uses the Trinitron or Diamondtron technologies) They worth every dollar you pay more..

Check out the site of Sony..If you can't find both models then there must be just a variation of the same monitor for different countries..
