Do you mean Samsung 192T??If you are I have nothing to say...I just want to congratulate Samsung because I've worked a lot on a 172T and it's far from the ideal picture that you describe..Colors aren't as natural as my 6 year old Sony, viewing angles greatly affect image quality (get's brighter...
But if you find a TFT monitor that has nice and warm colors, can work in more than one screen resolution with decent IQ and keeps it's quality despite the viewing angle, please let me know!!I think I'll stretch my budget for that one...!!
Until then, IMHO, TFTs are a smart buy only for people...
I'm not trying to lead or mislead anyone...Just saying my personal experience..I haven't seen any very expensive TFTs..Most were between $400-$600..An yes, I was not happy at all with what I've seen..None of the TFTs I've seen would make me miss my 17'' Sony Trinitron I use now..I use my PC...
Exactly...Anyway all those TFTs are way beyond my budget right now!
And nebor I've been in this field too long to know that narrow-mindness won't get you far...Even a $200 CRT has a crisper image than most TFTs out there (at least the 17 and some 18 inch TFT models I've looked)...And let's not...
No, I agree with you...I'm not even thinking of going TFT!I'll keep the CRT I'll get now for 2 years and I hope by then TFTs will be what they should be..
To be honest I'm mostly between the Viewsonic and the Samsung but I've heard good things about the rest as well..The LG has very nice specs and the NEC and MITSUBISHI feature the Diamondtron tube which is supposed to be on par with the Trinitron from SONY (if not better)...
I'm looking to buy a new monitor because my 5-year-old 17'' SONY G220 is starting to show it's age...I've seen many TFTs but - as i state in the title - I wasn't impressed at all so I'll go for a 19'' CRT...
I've made a shortlist with the following monitors:
LG F900P
Samsung 959NF
Viewsonic...
Do all Logitech keyboards have "soft" keys??Mine (Logitech Internet Keyboard) is too soft and sometimes i'm not even sure if a key has been pressed or not..This confuses me and I make spelling mistakes!!I'll try and see how the keyboard in MX Duo feels and if it's better I'll go for it..It's the...
Hello everyone!
I've decided to get a Wireless Desktop set as a Christmas present for myself! ;-)
Here's my shortlist:
- Logitech Cordless MX Duo
- Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Elite
Which one do you recommend?? I really trust Logitech as a company and it would be really cool to get...
I don't think you're absolutely correct..Firingsquad has recently put up an article comparing the two cards (both OC'ed). You can clearly see that in newer game like Splinter Cell and in very high quality settings the OC'ed 9600 beats the 9500 by quite a margin and even manages to catch up with...
Bradman if noone in this forum has ever bought a card from Athlon Micro I think we'd be better off staying away from it..At least I will just to be on the safe side..
