Hi, just downloaded and ran Speedfan - 46c max with 2 instances of orthos whilst clocking 3.6GHz @ 1.485v also ran coretemp and pc probe with similar temps displayed (45c, and 44c respectively) ambient room temp is about 25c and no my PC is nowhere near any AC of any sorts.

just ran 2 instances of orthos for 8 hours clocked @3.6GHz on 1.5v and never saw a higher temp than 45c via Coretemp or PC Probe

lol, ur not the only one with TAT issues - i gte the same error message when i try to run it. i use coretemp and pc probe II for my temps and there is usually a big difference between the two (10c) except for now when im running orthos x2 and both are reading within 1c of each other.

yeah i kinda guessed that but you never know... just to update... i upped the volts to 1.5 and clocked @3.6GHz and im now running 2 x orthos "Small FFTs - stress cpu" and temps are as follows: Coretemp 46c PC Probe 44c

well i hadnt tried orthos on both cores but i am currently runnin orthos AND prime 95 and temps sittin at 41c via PC Probe II or 37c via Coretemp wat other apps can i use cause im not making this up...
