    I'm pretty sure if you look around you will find cheaper prices for both ECC and non-ECC 4GB DIMMs. Also 4GB DIMMs are much more expensive and slower than the 2GBs. If I were you, I'd buy four 2GB DIMMs for a total of 8GB.

    Use the default resolution and increase the dpi. This way text will be less blurry and easier to read.

    This should be obvious, but if gaming is a possibility on this build, I recommend buying a better a video card. You also didn't mention the PSU.
