So I finally got a Japer Elite! Two days ago I bought one of the new $300 Elites. I'm in the process of transferring the data from my 20GB HD to the new 120GB HD using a 6GB memory card... wish me luck. It's been fun... goodbye.

Sad news from the Orange County (CA) front: I visited my local Best Buy store today since their website said they had the new Elite bundle (Halo/Fable) in stock... well, they did; but the consoles manufacturing date was July 2008 :(

Stopped at a Best Buy in Orange County CA after work and while they didn't have any new Elites in stock, an employee checked the store computer and told me that they'll arrive on the 17th. ...2 more weeks.

Follow up: Went to Best Buy today; only 3 Elites left, and all of them have a manufactured date of APRIL 2008 :S The ones that I saw before were lot 0843, non-Jasper. My only hope now is that when they re-stock I'll find a Jasper... if not, I'm ready to go the Arcade+120Gb way.
