The 512mb 3850 over here is around £120, and the 256 is around £100. The 2870 is around 140-150. And the cheapest 8800GT is 120-130 ish. So at the price of the GT 256mb, its between that and the 3850 512mb.

My budget is around 150 max (the price of the 3870) I can get the 8800GT for around 120-30, and the 3850 for the same price. I've got a 6600GT right now :D Looking at the benchmarks, the 3870 and the 8800GT are pretty similar, I just want to know how much difference the extra RAM makes...

Hello all, Ive currently got a 6600GT agp and im planning on building a new system probably with a 3200 venice. I want to overclock the venice a little bit. Do you think this board is worth getting? i mean personally since i have a reasonably high end card.
