It is what I expected.
However I should say I posed the same question on AOL and was told the the speed would slow down to the 5400.
I tend to trust this forum a wee-bit more.............
I have installed a 5400 rpm SATA hard Drive. I am disappointed in my video TV function and want to add a 7200 rpm HD, to bettter handle Vista and my pci-e video functions.
Will the 5400 drive slow down the system to the speed of the 7200 ? I am correct in thinking the drives will act...
I also have a problem but it's after a year of solid use. The system without warning just stops detecting the sound card. Interesting to the above is that I too have the same All in 1 card .
I have post to creative forums (below) but a strongly suspect the power supply as the problem...
