I have a somewhat older system: Asus P3v4X mobo and a Gladiac GeForce 2 vid card. (win xp is my OS, btw)
The problem is that my vid card in the system properties states it is in a PCI slot!
I updated the bios for the mobo (1005) and checked all the settings in the bios that I could think of...
Anyone know? Pricewatch.com has a few vendors that are offering it, but whenever I speak to them they say, "Ohh yah... We just sold out of 'em! Gimme a call back in a week or two." Sounds sort of fishy. Are they even out yet?
Couple of questions on that board:
- UltraDMA-100+33 EIDE Controllers
It says 100+33. Is this normal? Every other board I've seen says 133.
- 6 (32-bit) PCI, 1 AGP: AGP supports 1x, 2x and 4x modes.
How important is the upcoming 8x AGP mode? Are there even any boards out there with it...
Goodies? ummmm... Sort of a novice here, but I'll try.
