I was just wondering what u settings u could have ur 9800 pro on and still have good fps in call of duty.
I have everything maxed out in the game with 32 bit textures and 1280x1024.
for the card i have 4x quality AA and 8xAF
very high textures and mip map setting
stock speeds
it gets a little...
I put the ati back in the system and it works now...
Ati was never the best with drivers.
Anyways, i reflashed my bios and i still have the plug and play bios extension error in my device manager... on the phone with asus now.

All my mainboard drivers are installed. The max agp speed on my board is 4x so its already running at that.
Also, I just put the ati in different computer and it played a dvd fine.

ran adaware and spybot with latest ref files, but they did not help. I was able to find something on google and deleted all of the reg entries i could find. It is gone now as far as I can tell, but I am not sure if there are any remants left. Hopefully adaware of spybot will have a fix for this...
Somehow surferbar has managed to get into my browser. I have popups shootin out all over the place and I cant get rid of it.

i also noticed it dropped signifagantly when i installed intel application accelerator, software that manages the ide drivers and transfers and is supposed to make the hard drive faster. funny it got slower.
my wd 80gig se drive has dropped its benchmarking scores signifigantly. I used to get over 1000 in pc mark, and 25,000 in sysoft filesystem bench mark. Now i get 780 in pcmark and 18,000 in sandra. Is there a reason these scores should have dropped this much?
