    Is the onboard RAID5 controller of the Asus AN8-SLI slower than a PCI RAID5 controller?

    Hmmm...I am running RAID5 on the A8N SLI Deluxe and it seems a bit slower than the HighPoint 1640 PCI RAID5 controller I had in before. hmmmm... Any idea on what PCI RAID5 controller would be best? Although I am running PCI Express, i have the two PCI Express slots taken. thanks!
