Well here is a little update.
Installed XP from scratch last night. Same problems as before. I tried to bypass the router to rule it out, but I cannot even connect to the internet thru the cable modem.
I am going to try my wireless card tonite and see if I can get any connection at all...
Thanks for the reply PELarson-
The NIC is up and working properly as far as Windows is concerned. No red or yellow anywhere...only serene green.
Another thing is that if I connect directly to the modem I STILL cannot get on the internet...that bugs me.
Thanks
Ty
Hello and thanks for taking the time to look at this, all help is appreciated.
The other night my wife's computers PSU (antec) went bad and it a flash and a bang her motherboard went with it. After 3 days and some new stuff from Newegg I reinstalled all the hardware and got the computer up...

Thanks
Ty

After a few days using the 2001 though I have to say I am REALLY impressed.
In the games I play there is no ghosting and it looks better...
Well the ability of the panel to run BF:2 means little to me. I get motion sickness playing on a 19" CRT, much less a 20" LCD.
The only games I am able to play without feeling ill are slower paced games without a lot of quick jerky movements.
Thanks
Ty
Hello all-
Just ordered a 2005FPW from Dell the other day when the coupon deal was ongoing. Package came in just a few days, but I was out of town for a bit. Wife set the monitor up and was telling me how great it was and all the happyness...I thought all was well in the world.
Well I get...
