Audio always cutting out - possible hardware problem!

A BIOS flash might solve the problem, I would check on the ECS Website before doing this, and also their support or knowledge base.

Does your motherboard have the additional 12v 4-pin plug on it? If so, is it plugged in?

What causes this type of slowdown?

There could also possibly be a memory leak in the program? If you are concerned with general optimization, I would recommend a few excellent guides on Tweaktown, these two in particular: WinXP Tweaking: From Reformat to Relax WinXP Tweaking: From Relax to Righteous Also, another good...

MFT Corrupt, any chance of recovery? SOLVED

One of my drives has a corrupt MFT. It happened while installing a 9800 pro, I had just used Driver CLeaner to take off the old drivers (9600XT), turned it off, installed the card, and BAM This is on my backup drive, where I store all my music, software ISO's, kid's games, etc, so its a...

Potentially HOT: Seagate 160GB 8mb for $37 after $50 MIR

I spoke to newegg CS and they said the original 5 year warranty from seagate would still apply. I see no reason why it wouldn't, as the 5 year warranty is effective for any drives purchased after July 26th 2004. Either way, its a gamble I'm willing to take, as in my experience you have just as...

Potentially HOT: Seagate 160GB 8mb for $37 after $50 MIR

Hello, I recently was going to purchase the 160GB Seagate drive from outpost running 50 after rebate (search the forum). But, with tax and shipping, it came out to 116 and change. I checked newegg and noticed that it was only 119 there, so decided to order from them out of loyalty. When I...

FYI the Rayovac charger IS actively cooled. Has one or 2 fans in there when it runs, and it can get noisy. Noisier than my computer, when both are at my desk.

I have the Rayovac charger and batteries in question above. They are called IC3 batteries, rayovac brand. 2000mAh NiMH batteries. They charge in under 15 minutes on the IC3 Rayovac Charger. Paid 23.99 for the charger at walmart (holds 4 batteries, comes with 2). I bought 4 additional batteries...

Does vAGP (AGP voltage) affect the stability of your GPU OC?

Just wondering, because while my board defaults at 1.5, it also has a BIOS option for 1.6, 1.7, and 1.8. Just wondering whether it will help me squeeze a few mhz out of it, or if it is a waste of time. Thanks in advance. And if it matters, its a Retail BBA 9600 pro currently running 510/353...
