Yea I checked to make sure it was poled correctly. I also tried finding a quality repair shop around me with no luck so I was hoping to get it done myself.
I'll try the unplugging/dust removal method to see if that helps.
Thanks for the suggestion Chad. I actually thought that might be the problem at first also and used the manual to set the correct impedance (or so I think). I also ran the "auto setup" feature of the receiver which uses a microphone to ping each speaker and adjust the settings itself.
