I have a Titan pre-ordered.

From what I can tell, the 4200 do indeed seem to be overclocking better for some reason. I just went with the 4400 because it wasn't a big price jump. The 4400 are in higher demand, meaning less availability. Either one is screaming fast. Which ever one you choose will rock.

The DFI board is X2 supported out of the box. Contains an X2 logo on the box and in documentation.

People will tell you otherwise no reinstall is needed. But a rule of thumb for me and making sure everything is performing as it should, I always do a complete reformat and reinstall for any major hardware upgrade, ala, CPU/Mobo/GPU.

Are you sure you just missed out on the stock they had? Most places don't stock things real-time with their website.

Well, 2.4Ghz a CPU = 4.8Ghz. So an overclocked 3.0Ghz X2 would be 6.0Ghz. If you think in that respect. :)

Motherboard is fast and stable. A BIOS flash was not needed, as it came with X2 support out of the box.
