what settings? are you with mediaone? if so the setting for ip should be obtain. wins should be disabled. nothing in gateway. and dns disabled. that should do it...

dsl is pretty much maxed out..but cable companies can easily crank up the old speed through cable...also dsl using the ppp caries more overhead in it's packets. so cable's speeds are actually much quicker in the long run if cable were to decide to crank up the speed.

video bios is disabled and yes it still does it with standard pci drivers.... i even d/l liveware 3.0 and still have the same prob. are there newer drivers out that resolve this issue other than the liveware 3.0 drivers???

i was thinking that about the sb live.. cause i know i've heard probs about the card causing conflicts so i'm trading her out for a super quad aureal vortex 2.... and as far as the speed of the computer it does it while running at default speed 900mhz...

okk i've switched out my old ddr and i'm still having probs..i got a new voodoo5 5500 and i get these like fuzzy things only on the net though..like certain pics on any site i get that fuzzy puple blah crap like when you have no cable in the house..fuzzz...driving me nuts any suggestions? i got...

i'm stumped to as what the hell this is...you know when you are just surfing the net and you notice all the nice little jpegs and gif's floatin around..well for some reason i can't see jpegs....they have little purple lines through them...and also dvd's do the same thing....i've tried...
