I just tried powering it off and its stuck at the "goodbye" screen. It wont power off or on at the moment. Should I take out the battery and reset it or something ?

I downloaded the latest BIOS from asus.com for my mobo. It's dated 2004/02/11 BIOS1015 . Asus says "Do not use old version Afudos.exe to flash BIOS.Must use new Afudos.exe which is included in zip file to flash BIOS" I havent flashed a BIOS in a while, how do I go about doing it? Any help...
